Photographer’s Note
Niagara Falls straddles the Canadian-United States International Border, both in the Province of Ontario and the State of New York. The falls attracts some 12 Million tourists annually and is the second largest falls on the globe next to Victoria Falls in southern Africa. One fifth of all the fresh water in the world lies in the four Upper Great Lakes-Michigan, Huron, Superior and Erie. The entire outflow empties into the Niagara River and eventually cascades over the falls. Man has not been able to completely control the flow of the water over the falls, even modern engineers have tried. Much of the water today is fed through underground channels and pipes to nearby hydro electric power stations.

I am surprised that nobody has critiqued this image so far!
I really like the colours in this one - the lights in the background and the searchlight on the falls contrast well with the dark of the night.
It's just a shame that the camera wasn't angled a little lower to capture the whole of the bush and water in the foreground and a little less sky at the top of the frame.
Overall, though, a lovely image.
