Photographer's Note

A composite image of many 30" long exposures of the stars from my backyard. I took this over a time period of forty minutes. I was hoping to get longer trails. Unfortunately the camera battery died.

a pity that your battery was flat, but anyway, yoy have obtained a very beautiful effect.The tilt enhances the dynamism of the picture.very well done!

Star trails are so difficult to photograph. You did a good job here, much better than I could manage. Hopefully your battery will last longer next time :) But thanks for sharing this unique and very attractive photo.
