I know, this is a classic but I just couldn't help myself.
The brooklyn bridge that spans the east river from Manhatten to Brooklyn is a wonder of engineering and the visions of man. The walk over the bridge provides the photographer with countless photo opps.

A very well chosen pov to get a very strong symmetrical image. A good variety of geometrical features too e.g. Arches, curves and diagonals. You obviously have a very creative eye to have seen the opportunity and to capture such a fine shot. Well done.

Maybe a classical, but a really nice shot! The pov is great! I like the lines leading our eyes to the flag at the top. Very well chosen format also!

Certainly a classic, though I more often see this presented wider and in landscape format, so this is a nice take. The flag makes a nice centerpiece here, a bright bit of color. Great clarity and detail elsewhere, especially in the stone work. Well framed and taken.

Hi there Daniel - This may be a classic composition but with good reason, the design of the bridge and strong lines of perspective are compelling and call for a shot like this! The flag is most appropriate and adds a great splash of colour. Super. Warm regards rosemary

Good morning Daniel
Nothing wrong with taking photos of old classics, especially when you come up with eye-catching graphic compositions like this! I like the symmetry in this image, it really makes it.

Feast for the eyes and the strong lines, that is one heck of a view well taken from a good view point. The intensity repeated cable lines is gorgeous and importantly the compostion is really cool and so well exposed with the eyes being led by the curvy diagonal. Clarity is fine, sharpness and contrast are excellent. Fine shot, Congrats
holmertz (48910) 2012-12-20 3:14
A great symmetric composition. The two halves look llike they're mirroring each other. Only the flags goes just one way. Well done.

A picture with a lots and lots of lines in it.
The very good composition and point of view
ensures that the picture isn't to busy and I
like the harmony (the symmetry) in the picture.
The vertical position emphasize extra the depth
and highness. Light management is also very
josepmarin (58325) 2013-04-18 4:55
yes, this framing it's a classic, and I have tried a very similar one there.
I like the strong graphical effect of the wires under a nice light, as a spider net, and its nice perspective which leads our eyes toward the US flag and the sky.
A great work.
