Hello Norm,
i have looked at you picture before without responding as I did not know how I felt about it and how to put what I did feel into words. But it draws me back. I think it is it's melancholic quality that makes it a good image and also it's simplicity. Your image tells us that homelessness is a sad and lonely state.You have tinted your picture to bring out this lonely "outsider" emotion and I find it very moving.
