Photographer’s Note

This is what my friend and I found as we reached the destination of our hike up the Appalachian Trail to Sunfish Pond. The trail up the mountain is about 2 hours of rock, and someone before us decided to have fun with them -- probably while resting his sore feet. The day was obviously bleak (though I think that does the image justice).

A little sharpening and level adjustment.

Hi Lisa, wow what an interesting find! Your title is a good one and your composition very unique. I really like the muted winter colours here and your image is nice and sharp too. Great job & TFS, Lisa.
