Photographer’s Note
My boyfriend and I went out to fly a kite and I saw this beautiful scene and decided to try to take a pic. I think it's very pixelated, which is because of having to push it down to 800pixels. I forgot to look at it again before posting, oh well. Maybe someone can make it look better again.

Hello, Jade,
This is a very well composed shot, and captures the "flavor" of the Jersey shore very well. Nice DOF, with the fence in the foreground and the perspective of the beach and waterline. I like how the house is "looking out" over the ocean, while the beachcombers in the surf provide a finishing balance for the eye. The grey overcast gives the scene a pensive mood. My grandmother was an artist and this reminds me of her paintings...
As far as the quality of the photo after reducing it for posting... well, that is Trek members' universal complaint. Not sure what is to be done about that.
I have posted a few pics of the shore as well which you might want to check out, taken a little farther up the peninsula, on Barnegat Bay.
