Photographer’s Note

This wooden boat is used by the local life guards in Cape May, NJ during rescue missions. For a nice clear day with 70°F weather, there was hardly anyone on the beach that day.

Another one with good composition and color - under the greyish haze. Did another WS, this time without the framing but you can tell it's a small amount of megapixels (because of the sky).

As per your intro note - spend at least 100 bucks of that on a PP program. You'll find out that digital doesn't live up to it's full potential without one.

Optimal POV for you, in this way you can look like "the subjet".

This is really nice. A great title for it as well. I like the different shade of blues and where you've situated the boat in your picture. Very good!

Hi Liz
Your comment on your this photo drew me here. I like this with a good compo. As John has said, digital images do require some post processing to bring out the best of the colours thru the colour cast which the camera invariably brings. To 'prove' this I have done a small Workshop in the free software called Picassa, take a look. Of course the picture has sufferred because of the low pixel size, but hope that otherwise you would like it.

this is a nice shot even if the lighting wasn't that good. The boat is well placed and the quantity/quality of details you managed to get is good too.

This is a great shot because of the peaceful nature it reflects.I tried a WS,not that it needs one!!
Although there are other WS versions already existing,see if you like it!!
