Photographer’s Note
S.S. "Atlantis" was one of 12 concrete ships in service during World War I. She was soon decommissioned after war because of her weight and slow speed. Towed to Cape May to be used as a loading platform for a ferry service, she sank during a storm on 8th June 1926.

Memento mori - remember death! We could apply this phrase to the ship in the background - hopefully it doesn't finish like that.
