Photographer’s Note
I always like visiting the NJ shore in the fall, when the beaches have long been empty but the weather is nice. I liked this contrast between the beautiful early morning scene with seagulls flying, but with a big tanker plopped in the middle.

L'envolée d'oiseaux à environ un tier de la hauteur de la photo, avec le bateau en arrière-plan...belle prise! Toutefois, j'aurais préféré une plus grande profondeur de champ et ne pas avoir le focus sur seulement les oiseaux. Un ciel bleu aurait été apprécié également, mais ce n'est pas le genre de chose que l'on contrôle! Belle photo, pas facile à saisir.

Very original composition. Birds are in good position and the boat complete the picture. Well done, I like this grey atmosphere, it's a bit unreal.
