Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken at the New Jersey State Aquarium in Camden, NJ. John Paskey / happypoppeye was kind enough to let me use his camera for a few shots during our visit. I was able to capture this humorous shot of this man standing near a sign that's pretty ironic! The sign reads: Birds poop every 15 minutes. How long have you been standing here?
I couldn't resist this shot! Hope you enjoy! I haven't been on in a while, so I promise to respond to everyone soon!

I like this assymmetrical composition quite a bit. In part because the figure's white shirt contrasts well with all the vivid colours. The branch leading away provides some welcome perspective. Well framed!. Too bad the reflection is not any stronger. (But nothing you could do about this).

Thanks for the laugh Liz. I love how the man is standing there as if he hasn't even noticed that sign. I like the square crop. It works well with the composition. That yellow sign really stands nicely, and it should because it’s the star of this photo. Nice of John to let you borrow his camera, is that him posing for you too? ;-)

aw, geez. Here we go again...remember you still owe me $5 rental fee...plus tax, plus interest now. Nice shot. Good color and composition. The sign is clear enough to read and creates a really strong focal point with the bright contrasting yellow. Nice blue sky and "landscape" also.
Nice work.

Hi Liz,
Nice to see you back!!And you restarted with a pretty funny one!!I could not figure out what the title of the shot meant until I read the note!!!I'm sure this man must have had a pretty torrid time ,if he had'nt claculated the 15 minutes from the last poop.!!!!Ha,ha!!He seems to be lost in his own world !!The framing and the reflaction of the man in the glass is excellent!!And its truely a 'Humorous' stuff!!
Regards,
Sagarneel.

Liz, you are quite the artist. I think it is about time to get your own camera to let your imagination get the full benefit. Very funny and the scene was well seen and captured. The guys posture is not quite clear. Was he there to test how long it takes to get some poop or didn't he see the sign and was waiting for something else?
Did you only use John's camera or did you also use him as a manequin? ;-)
Regards, Peter

Hi Liz
This is most definitely a very very funny picture. Good eye and a good capture at the right moment. Technically too its a good picture. A stronger and clearer reflection would hvae been perfect but its a great picture all the same
Cheers

Hi Liz,
I totally agree with Peter! Your eyes caught a funny moment with the guy standing and waiting in front of the glass. Was he perfectly conscious or sort of hypnotized? :o)
The pic is good, well balanced and with a nice frame.
Well done Liz!
Take care

Hello LIz

Belle photo de cette cageprotègée par un carreau, ce qui fait de jolis reflets,il faut attendre 15 minutes pour voir les animaux se déplacer dans cet aquarium. Amitiés Thomas

Hi Liz,
You've been silent for a while, so I had to check if there were any updates on your gallery. Your previous shot was nice as well, but perhaps just a slight bit too patriotic for me ;-).
But this take is also a good month ago! Funny one though :-). A pity they need to use double glass in the basin - creating a double and slightly blurred reflection. But still funny.
I am back home by now, enjoying autumn in the Netherlands. Wonderful weather here, great moments for some pictures.
Greetings! Dennis

Hi Liz. A very pretty and cute shot. Well themed with a subtle tinge of humour too. Glad to see a lot of details. Should have seen the shot earlier. Better late than never. TFS. Regards.
