Photographer’s Note
Looking East down Chestnut Street between Mt. Ephraim & Haddon Aves., in the Whitman Park section of the city. This was clearly once a warehouse district, but long ago fell on hard times. Despite this, the neighborhood has seen heavy revitalizing in the last 10 years, though the contrast between "nice" and "totally bombed out" from address to address is striking.
