Photographer’s Note
Another scene from Atlantic City, sad this time and unfortunately something that we see to much often. I felt sad a this moment for this man, it was well over 30°C and very humid, we wanted to enter evrey store that we saw with conditioned air, not after we saw him to face the sun. Not only with no legs, he was cut probably just below the stomach, like Mohammad said, aren't we lucky to be in good health.... I wish him the best like all people that have been hurt by tragedy recently. To bad that nature is not always like we would like.....Thanks for sharing.

Hai Pierre, a very sad sight indeed. For the photo, I prefer if you crop away the people behind so just to focus the man and the boy.

Salut Pierre,

Hi Pierre:
This picture is excellent because you worked a theme of daily life but very realistic, it isn't a fantasy it's real. I like the contrast and the dof.

Hi Pierre, This guy was in a sad and unfortunate condition. I am glad to see someone cared about him, especially it was a kid. Nice capture. Good contrast for a shot under the bright sun.

Bonjour Pierre,

Compliments

Hello Pierre,
Very tough image indeed. But is very powerful. I would not blurr the background. It adds to this great composition. As some people care, other just turn their back or ignore the sad reality. True fact.
I posted a WS, in an attempt to see more your subject. I hope you will like it.

A great shot of a two great persons, Pierre, the miraculous man in his wheelchair (sometimes it's unimaginable to me and I don't really understand how) and the boy showing he cares. It's a very strong picture, as it's shot on a nice day in nice place surrounded by nice people - so the contrast is very strong, despite the nice light and colors. But it's also very inspiring and show that we're able to - and must - overcome many tragedies. Very well done!

Well Pierre I am sure glad for my health and yet my heart goes out to this fella. He does look like he is dealing with it pretty good. I do agree with cropping the top end to focus on him and the young lad. Great shot.

Hi Pierre,
A striking photo of a pitiful scene. The capture is intensified by your careful framing and cropping and the contrast with the brightly clad youngster in the act of making his contribution. You certainly caught this at the decisive moment. Love the clarity too. Nice one, Pierre.
John
