[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While hiking some of the trails in New Hampshire, we saw a number if rock climbers scaling the face of Cathedral Ledge. They are quite a bit out of my camera lens range at center right. The climb is about 700 feet.

It is part of Echo Lake State Park that has "a scenic trail providing great views of the sheer, 700-foot Cathedral Ledge which towers over the lake. A mile-long auto road and hiking trails lead to the top of Cathedral Ledge where views across the Saco River Valley to the White Mountains can be enjoyed. Both Cathedral and nearby White Horse ledges are popular rock and ice climbing walls."

Hi Kathy. I like the richness of the colours in this one, and the way one looks up from the picnic table to rocky pinnacle. The autumnal colouring and the greens make a lovely combination, and the tranquility of the setting is extremely appealing. The water is very well captured, and overall clarity is excellent. Perhaps, if anything, it could be lightened a little in the bottom third, but that's a minor point - maybe it's just my screen. It's a terrific nature/landscape shot.
Regards,
Andrew
Edit: forgot to say, great choice of frame, too!

Hi Kathy,
Great light management and detail in this well-framed photo of this impressive ledge; chiimbing it would be a real challenge.
Regards, Pat

Hi Kathy, realy nice work here! you hace placed the bench slightly of center and that is what the experts tell us we should do, then the eye leads us across the water lovely colour, and then up the rockface. a very nice photo relaxing kind of image, as you sit there on the bench watching others strugling on the rocks.
An empty bench is a good prop in a photo as it can convey a sense of sadness as it makes you think who all sat there thats is no longer here to day!
so its a well done from me, Good Compo good POV good DOF
Kind regards donald

Hi Kathy. I love your POV which gives the illusion of being on the picnic bench. Beautiful soft colors and fine detail to this moody autumn landscape.
Regards, Tom

Hi,

This looks like my kind of place, looks like you have managed the light well in this one and the colours are perfect.

Thanks,

Patrick
