Photographer’s Note
An early morning capture of some of my neighbors of the past in their family resting place. These graves date back to the Seventeen Hundreds. A couple of them had to be repaired due to young vandals that had nothing better to do than damage these excellent reminders of past history. ISO 140, automatic mode.

I like the overall composition but the blown out sky is detracting from the effect you want to achieve. I would like to see this same shot taken at a time of day when the sun is at your back and you have some color in the sky.
Also, don't be afraid to use the self timer on your camera for this type of composition. Just place your camera on a stable surface, set your aperture and shutter and then go for it. The stable surface can be anything, especially if you don't have a tripod at your disposal. A strategically crumpled up jacket or sweater on the ground can do well, as can a log.
Mounting the camera on a stable surface will let you take a shot with greater depth of field with no flash or camera shake.
