Looking at your portfolio and your critiques it is clear you are an "OLD SALT" to the core. What stories you must have to tell about 30 years as a Navy photographer.
This image would benefit, at least to my eye from a bit of cropping. The building to the left is more distraction than anything else and I don't think you need quite so much water in front of the main elements. I also think it suffers from having the lighthouse in the exact middle of the composition. The image itself has fine color and detail, it simply needs some refinement. I did a workshop that demonstrates what I have in mind, for whatever it might be worth to you. I can tell from your portfolio that you know about composition. Some of you shots are quite stunning. I'm sorry I've missed your presence on the board.
Check out the workshop Frank.
Oops! You don't permit workshops. Mores the pity...

This is an excellent capture. I like the way you have captured the complete complex, including the living quarters and the lighthouse. Colours and clarity excels. Well done.

Bravo, nice picture maritime, frame equilibré and lights good but perhaps too blue on my taste.
I like see views like that and it is not often from the USA.
