| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Was out driving around in Bristol NH on Hemlock Brook Road when I saw an old barn on the side of the road. I took a lot of shot of a window but spied this plate when I was walking about. Farms in the NE are a dieing breed and I think (but am not positive) that this one is no longer in operation. Cropped the original photo slightly and bumped up the contrast by about 25. Wanted to bring out the texture of the wood and the rust. |

Yes, that I just like, that texture of wood and the rust. Well placed that rust part. So, I can`t say so much about this, it is joy of eye, anyhow. Thank you, George.
metal and wood, a dialogue all in texture
Belle idée et bonne composition. La plaque en couleur donne un super volume à cette photo
Bravo
Hi George, I think this is a beautiful picture, very simple but adequate composition with nice texture of the wood and colours of rust, not only on the metal, but surely in the wood as well.
It certainly reminds me of the work of Olli, who often has such simple, yet beautiful compositions
Texture!
It really is a beautiful shot, and you can almost feel the decay. Inspiring.
