Well done for capturing this wonderful shot. It is just perfect with the surroundings well out of focus.
We had a blackbird's nest in our garden but I was unable to get to it for a photo.

Nice shot, Frank. I like the closeness and the foreground detail. Looks like the open mouth is coming right out of the photo. This kind of a shot would also be a good candidate for TrekNature, I suspect.
