The shadows on the snow are quite beautiful. The blues are great too. (The trees remind of Santa Claus' beard) This photo transmits a quiet and peaceful atmospheres.

hello Francis, nice winter landscape. We have not snow in our parisian région.
I think it is a little grey, not enough lighted... in my taste.

Frank--Very nice composition. The center foreground snow mounds create an unexpected swirl of tree limb shadow. This adds the right detail to make this a great shot. You captured the snow drenched evergreens at just the right time, before the melt down.

It is beautiful.
