Photographer’s Note
I had gone to the beach to photograph the sunset, which wasn't much in itself that day, but then I saw this woman trying to shepherd in a group of children at the end of a day at the beach. It took several shots to capture all the individuals clearly in silhouette without overlapping. I cropped in slightly and bumped up the contrast just a little to darken the silhouette.

wonderful clarity; wonderful exposure; but most of all, such a wonderful scene- I like your title; this photo definately gives a sense of a long great day at the beach. The silhouetts are sharp and contrast very well with the soft color'd sunset
sweet capture and great shot
thanks

Not just a normal sunset. The human silhouettes all in a row add something special to it. They have something "unreal", like they were robots, and give some sort of mystery to the picture, at least to me. I like it.

This is an amazing shot. I think it is great that you were able to capture every individudal without cropping. The additional contrast definitely helps too. :)

Hi Nina,
Your work at arranging them all without overlap has created a nice thoughtful composition of shadows echoed by soft beautiful color .. very nice.
