Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken from one of the highest points in Martha's Vineyard Island, in an area inhabited by the Wampanoag, a Native American people located on the western-most part of the island. Martha's Vineyard (including the smaller Chappaquiddick Island) is an island off the United States east coast, to the south of Cape Cod, both forming a part of the Outer Lands region. It is often called just "the Vineyard". With a land area of 87.48 square miles (231.75 km²), Martha's Vineyard is the 57th largest island in the United States and third largest on the eastern seaboard.
The island is primarily known as a summer colony, and is accessible only by boat and by air. Nevertheless, its year-round population has grown considerably in the last 40 years. (From Wikipedia)

The name of the island is called Martha's Vineyard but the judges in TE don't let me write that way, so I wrote Martha Vineyard to see if they let me upload this picture.

Bonsoir, cher ami Emile,
Une île accessible par bateau ou par avion ! voilà qui n'est pas commun, tout comme cette très belle maison qui bénéficie d'un environnement sauvage. La présence de personnages sur la plage permet de prendre la mesure des espaces.
Une note intéressante et enrichissante accompagne très bien cette composition.

I definitely like your composition here: the housen the land, the ocean all having their rightful place in the frame. The overall quality seems to have a bit altered somehow though. What kind of PP went on here? Besides I'm not a big fan of this green border...too flashy.

Hola Emile,
Es una foto muy bonita, que hace justicia a la vista también ella muy bella. La compo es de primera, con todo "en su sitio", como en una pintura. Me gusta además la luz y sobre todo los colores, creo que nunca había visto una vista de mar con colores tan típicas de Otoño, que hacen un lindo contraste con el mar muy azul.

Hola amigo Emile,
bonito lugar, no es extraño que muchas familias vengan a pasar sus vacaciones de verano a aesta isla.
Buen puntoi de vista, que da mucha profundidad a este paisaje marino.
Las casas en el primer plano rompen la soledad del lugar.
Bonita foto, tiene una buena luz y un colorido natural.

PS: muchas veces yo también tengo problemas para los nombres del lugar, ya que TE no admite los apóstrofes, o letras como la ç, muy utilizada en catalán o en francés.

Très jolie maison bleue que tu nous as dénichée là et qui semble presque seule sur cette île. Belle prise de vue et excellente perspective, je crois voir deux personnages sur la plage qui nous donne une bonne idée de l'immensité de la scène. Capricieux les juges de TE, on ne peut pas écrire ce qu'on veut.
