Bash Bish falls is a rocky gorge surrounded by enormous hemlocks. This spot has inspired an
American Indian legend whereby a beautiful maiden named Bash Bish was unjustly accused of adultery. The governing elders strapped her to a canoe let loose at the top of the falls.Parts of the canoe were found but not her body, although if you look carefully you can see her image in the falls and if you lister closely you can hear the falls say her name"Bash bish, Bash bish..."
