Photographer's Note
This is another photo from downtown Waltham MA. I went to college in Waltham, at Brandeis University; at that time (which was a *very* long time ago), Waltham was a blue-collar almost all-white old mill town outside of Boston. Over the past few years, while it is still an old mill town and still outside of Boston, the population has turned into an incredible mix of Hispanic, Indian, and others. The downtown area, which used to be filled with places like Harry's Shoe store, is now filled with markets selling various ethnic wares, restaurants, and places like this.

Really nice use of competing signs to show the change in Waltham here. Moody Street and the rest of Waltham's downtown is a great mix of cultures and this shot demonstrates that well. Good contrast here, bringing out the faded sign at top.

hi Roger,
Nice shot of this unusual shop front, not to mention the rather weird sign offering eyebrow threading?? The manniquin on the right hand side is a rather spooky looking one, nice dark feeling to this whole shot. Not what I would call a welcoming store!
All the best

Hello Roger,
Thank you for the visit on my photo. Here, I like these old store fronts and you present us with an interesting one. The tight framing is well done, with well saturated colors and good sharpness.
Best regards
Jacques
