Photographers Note
Yesterday was unseasonably warm here in Massachusetts. Around 60 degrees F. I noticed this scene of the steam/fog rising off a frozen reservoir. I took the photo in color, but the blue cast was just not a realistic view. I converted to grayscale. This is more of a true rendition of what I saw.

Hi Michael,
beauty is in simplicity. I really find the graphism and simplicity here absolutely stunning. This photo has an asian sensibility and grace.

Hi Michael,
This is a wonderful shot. The choice of grayscale is excellent, as it really suits this scene. The atmosphere created by the fog is remarkable and contrasts so well with the bold silhoettes of the grasses in the foreground. Well seen and captured!

A fine little peace of piece Michael. Nice work on fog and foreground and also a fine work on corners and diagonals in a frame.
