I would imagine that shots of sunset over Hingham bay get boring after a while, but I couldn't resist the amazing clouds that evening. Hingham Bay is a surprisingly large body of water in the south part of Boston Harbor; there are two relatively narrow entrances to it, yet it used to house a large shipyard and is still a pretty large shipping terminal. Mostly, though, it's used for recreational boating.
Fortunately there was a railing I could use to stabilize the camera; this came out decently clear for 1/10 second.

I'd say better than decently (and hey, you're posting again too!). The color along the horizon is amazing, as are the clouds advancing from left.

hello Roger, Nice that the family is here again:). And who would resist making the photo of such a sunset. Amazing light and colours, interesting shape of the cloud.

This is a really amazing sunset and i think you captured the original colors very well. Maybe it's the clouds that make this picture special, more than actually the colors, and I also like the dots of reflected light from the distant buildings. '

nice composition from nature. Simple but with ample effects. Great colour tone. Nice layers of colours to enjoy in it. Excellent shot. Tfs.

I don't think any place gets boring when the sun is displaying above it, and this is a beautiful display. The clouds seem almost like tendrils of something dark (in an evil way) reaching across the scene, and trying to block out the golden tones of the sunset. A really fine result, nicely captured.
All the best
