Photographer’s Note
Decided to head to Dog Town in Gloucester Ma for some trail running. Dog Town was an old town that eventually became deserted back in the 1930's. Around that same time, these stones were made...I am not 100% sure why. I tried doing some searches on the web but unfortunately didn't find too much. The stones have a variety of words/sayings (i.e. Be True, Be Healthy, If Work Stops Values Decay, etc). The area is quite over grown now and is a great place to hike/run/mountain bike. I cropped the original color photo and made it b/w in PS.
