[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This bench, nestled between columns in an overlook, is marked with a plaque that says it was placed here in memory of a loved one. The money generated from these tributes helps to fund this year-round, living museum or botanic garden in central New England (Tower Hill Botanic Garden).

I can't think of a better memorial than this to comfort ones thoughts as he/she comes to visit, remember, relive, and revive.

Mt. Wachusett and Wachusett Reservoir are in the distance.

I did not use a black frame. What you see at the top is the porch roof and at the sides are the columns.

Hi Kathy,
Great shot, nicely capturing this scenic landscape.
Sharp, nice details and neat image.
Well composed picture. Great PoV.
Have a great weekend. Enjoy life. Don't work too hard.

Hi Kathy, this is a very peaceful and nicely composed photo, and I like the shady little overlook and framing effect. The outlook is nothing spectacular, but doesn't need to be. It has very good depth of field from your small aperture and contains vegetation, water, hills and a good sky. A very nice 'stillness' shot.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Kathy,
You've framed the reservoir, mountain, and cloudy sky well with the columns, bench and particularly the angling tree. Good light management to get such nice detail and color throughout a wide range of light. Your note is also splendid, you give just the right amount of information.
Regards, Pat

Olá Kathy
Bonita imagem, me agrada muito a composição.
Cores lindas também. Parabéns.
Abraços,
Vera.

Hi Kathy
Very sentimental and touching piece of art, all three of them: the photo, the bench and the note. Congratulation
Cheers

Kathy, This is a peaceful and beautiful place to take a moment's break from the world.. It is a fitting tribute to a life loved and missed, one that invites reflection and longing for what is only remembered. There is such exquisite depth to the view; I like the symbolic possibilities posed by the iron railing, clearly separating the tangible here-and-now from the unreachable distance. I've noticed you have a way of capturing that 4th dimension in your photos.

Hi Kathy,
Congratulations on your 100th posting on TE. The gentle scene is captivating and what I especially like about it, just as in all the images that you have posted, you have left the colours natural and beautiful and in this instance all the more poignant because of the nature of the topic.
Have a nice weekend.

Hello Kathy,
This photo conveys the cycle of life so poignantly. The beautiful landscape, that you have captured so well, shows the pulse of life, and how many wonderful things there are around us, yet the empty bench is the perfect contrasting symbol of loss when a life has gone. I like the vertical framing and the placement of the bench. For me this poto is so simple yet so full of feeling.

Hi Kathy,
I love "take trough" shots. This one is very nice with beautiful colors in the landscape.
Good work
Guy

Hi Kathy, you show great sensitivity through your lenses and your note on this picture. I wish I will have such a bench with such a gorgeous landscape when needed.
The picture is overall a little bit dark and a WS could help a little bit to correct it.
Best regards, Peter
