Photographer's Note
This isn't the best picture in the world, nor does it aim to be, but this tree is so special I think it deserves to be shown to everyone who can't or never has made it to Boston.
I love the prepotency of green in this picture.. is there anything better than a beautiful tree?

Very high saturation Vale. But I like this tree. Especially near the water. I suppose it grows very healthy near a lake or other watersource. Good one

Hi! Vale,
Firstly, Thanks for your comments on my "Man from Olbia" photo.
You obviously like trees very much and the willow is a big favourite of mine. A thirsty beast is the willow and you should not plant one too near your home and it's foundations. The light passing through it's long leaves gives a splendid diffusion of light which in turn creates wonderfull shadows. This image is splendid for light and the inclusion of the gentleman is perfect for conveying the peace and shelter this specimen provides.
I did a WS to restore the original colours and offer an alternate view for your visitors, just in case you have not got a copy. I hope it does just that. Well captured and Thanks for sharing a similar interest.
Mike.
