Boston's Public Garden, the first botanical garden in the United States, was created in 1837. Its 24 acres of lush landscaping include statuesque elms, chestnuts, redwoods and weeping willows in addition to flowering shrubs, fountains and commissioned artworks.
An oasis from the surrounding skyscrapers ~ commuters, shoppers, dog-walkers and joggers take advantage of and enjoy the park's beautiful gardens in the heart of the city.
