Photographer's Note
The Boston Public Garden is one of the city's greatest public spaces, and some kind of performance or art can be found there on a daily basis. On my walk through this past weekend, I came across Ramblin' Dan, the One Man Band playing for an assortment of children, parents, and passers-by. Dan had a lot going on around him, as you can see from this shot - a colorful, noisy, and entertaining show. Not sure how he could possibly have moved all of this (including the drum kit out of frame)!
Have a good weekend, everyone.

Hello Andrew,
Jeez, this guy must be nuts. And, looking at the variety of "instruments" he has around him, I can't imagine that he sounded all that good either - or did you enjoy his music? No matter, at least he seems to be enjoying it!
Very well captured and with excellent and varied vibrant colours and excellent details too, all against a nicely out of focus background and topped off by a happy big sunflower sprouting out of his hat!
Brilliant!
P.S. One thing I've always wondered - what does someone like this do when he needs to go for a pee?

Street musicians seems to be everywhere even on the famous Las Vegas Strip but we don't have anything close to Ramblin' Dan. Nicely captured with good lighting and dof nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi dear Ciao Angel
How are you? Sorry for my late reaction for the time being. I will rush up this weekend.
Seeming like a happy casual snap image. A little overexposure gives apossitive impact. His happy pose is very pleasant to see. Thank you for your sharing and have a nice weekend!

Hi Andrew
One man bands are quite rare these days and this would serve well as his publicity card, the multi-skilled one man band. Fantastic colourful portrait of such a beautiful noise for one man with all the context detail, a lot of energy being put in and enthusiasm. His face and shirt are brightly lit suggesting that he brings happiness to people around and the mesmerisation is clearly seen in your shot exellently. So, was he playing "Oh, my darling Clementine?"- how did that guitar sound? A perfect moment captured of simply engaging scene nicely thought through, also tickled by the title. Congrats.
Kind regards
batalay

Hello Andrew,
The colorful scene depicts Ramlin' Dan perfectly. It's too bad that there is no accompanying sound track to this image. He has decorated his musical instruments/band/orchestra effectively. The bluish spherical detail in the lower left area of the photo is a 3" rubber ball with a globe painted on it. I've seen it before. But how can he stand the deep freeze of Boston in January with what appears to be light clothes.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hello Andrew
This is a cheerfull shot with a good splash of color, so much needed in this drab winter weather we have got ourselfs over here. I can imagine that he is the attraction of the day in the park.

Hi Andrew,
Now that's a colonial character if ever I saw one! I was always impressed as a kid when I seen a one man band, even if the sounds they produce is not always melodic. It's a unique and charming skill, and one I haven't seen for such a long time. Great subject, and his many colours make the image all the more attractive. Nice one!
All the best

Hi Andrew
well, Somebody is wanting attention! lol!!!
this guy steals the show no matter where he goes.
It would be nice to have a wider shot too, just to see all the instruments, but here we get a closer view too.
funny scene!
enjoy your day
