[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The boulder really caught my attention here with the layered rock grain and veins running through this granitic rock known as gneiss. I made the most of the curved shoreline and fall colors as a backdrop by positioning my tripod low and close to the foreground.

Nice Fall color. Maybe a bit oversharpened. With July days in South Carolina hitting over 100 degrees, I yearn for days such as the one you've photographed. Thanks for shaing.

Good depth of field and composition. Fall is one of my favorite times of year, but it will come soon enough for me.
