Hi Kristina,
very interesting shot. I had troubles trying to understand the location and the sudden change in light, but your reference to zmey's photo was enlightening.
Well done,
Cheers

hi kristine,
what i like most is the different colors in the different halves of the composition. In a sense division of the frame with colors is the fact which is attracting me very much. You have captured the night shot well which also gives a sense of serenity about the place. Nice work.

Hi,
An interesting and eye-catching shot. Very well taken and technically excellent. Bicycles are not to be trusted! Their habits are discussed at great length in the 'The Dalkey Archive' by Flann O'Brien... Thanks.
Dougie.

Hi Kristine,
Wow, what a shot. The lighting and color harmony between the amber and blue light is fantastic. I know where this is, but have not seen it in this light. Well done, Mike

Very well seen Kristine. Love the opposite colours and the framing. It's the little things that add up to a clever composition, like the bicycle and the trees shadow outline. Very nice work.

Hi Kristine,
Beautiful night shot.. Your first one? WOW!! This look to me like a "pro shot" . Great composition and good use of the natural light. Like the soft orange/blue combo. Nice touch leaving the bike as part of the composition.
Bravo!!

Hi Kristine,
excellent night shot, superb colors combination.
I like a lot the silhouette of the tree in front of this building and the bike is well positioned.

Hello Kristine,
I love the contrast of the colors. Reminds me of the 3-D glasses I got to watch JAWS when I was a kid. The other little elements such as the bike and the tree just make it even better. One of your best I would say.
Awesome job,
Mel

Oh my God, what a beautiful shot, Kristine! The orange blue complementaries add to the mystery of the night, but that lone tree branching through these colour zones is the best part besides that lone bicycle. Superbly seen and shot! Wnderful work.

hey, kristine. i loves this shot. the border between the cold and warm is so pronounced and the bicycle brings a bit of life presence in an otherwise desert like composition. very good job, indeed. TFS.

Great shot, Kristine, the 1:1 frame division between the cold and warm parts is stunning! the tree with the branch connecting the two parts is the main element here, and then the bicycle adds so much (still) "life"... :)) Really good, compliments!

Hello Kristine,
Superbe graphisme, dans cette image. Le contre-jour des branches d'arbres, dans le bleu, et dans l'orange, est magnifique. Le vélo apporte un plus incontestable !
J'aime beaucoup !

Hi Kristine,
beautiful, impressive and splendid composition. We can see in your picture a real photography's spirit that is light and light. So, you worked with a few components and you did an artistic composition. Keep up your good work. All the best, Consuelo

Hello Kristine,
outstanding piece of photograph, and I wouldn't know how did you take this one, if you wouldn't tell us that Kristaps, have made a similar shot.
Congratulations for the idea, the balance in this photo is amazing while Kristaps photo describes the place well.

Hi Kristine, and first thanks for your critique you just wrote me, a pleasure to read it even if i don't know if it is that good :) I scrolled your last page of pictures and the least i can see is that it's an excellent one, but i saw this one i say "EXCELLENT", i really love that one, the mix of orange and blue creates a particular feeling, kind of metalic, kind of ireal, the presence ofthis little bike is a must and the use of low shutter speed is what creates all this harmony by catching lot of light, avoiding grain.
You "thought" your composition and this is why this is so good
Congratulations
WOW!!
The tree at night extending its branches towards the day..This photo seems to me enormously symbolic,in addition to pretty..
Colours,shadows,spaces,forms..,all is amazing and appropriate.
..and the bicycle prepared and ready to begin the day.
Best regards

Hey Kristine,
A contrasting visual 'pattern' using colour in relationships. The classic orange-blue prorortion is with each section having a highlight, a different show to view - interesting still-life imagery!
Cheers!

Hi, Kristine -
A fascinating split shot; absolutely no bleeding on either side. In thumbnail, I thought it was two shots combined, and pushing the edge of the TE TOS rules, but no. This is great light management and an excellent eye.
All the better because bicycles are notoriously shy at night!
Best,
Dan

Hi again,
A lot of thought in this one, I'd think.
The partition really makes this image a winner. It's like having two different ambiences in just one composition: both given remarkable textures.
I really thank you for this great inspirational image. Need to pay attention next time I'll be out there!
Regards,
Maria

Hi Kristine,
This one is fantastic!
Two small different worlds which mix with this tree which makes the link between them. The nature is for me a hyphen between any things on our Earth. Too many people forgets it unfortunately.
I so like love it that I put it in my favourites!
Amicalement
Diane
