Hello Don,

Just stunning!
The composition is perfect.
The dull light, the hint of mist and billowing clouds add a mysterious air to the shot.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Done, wonderful smooth photo, its totally perfect from all aspects, the color balance, the POV and the timing. very good contrast. well seen and captured.
Sam.

Hello Don,
Very beautiful! Little reflection of the early morning sun on the ship and the mist behind make it mysterious as well. Tfs.
Regards,
Barkan

Don,

This is like the best of postcards, it is a beautifully composed image that is executed perfectly. The misty morning is often hard to capture but you have done it well just the same, great post!

Greg

Hi Don:

What a very lovely composition you got there! I feel like I'm in a museum of famous paintings of da Vinci and Michaelangelo. Everything's perfect... lighting, sharpness, contrast and POV. Cheers my friend!

Hi Don,
Nice capture here. I love the complexity of light and dark. The ship itself looks like the fabled white knight amidst the darkness. Nicely done! Cheers, Paul.

Hi Don,
I like the darkness surrounding and relatively more enlighted center of photo a lot. I wonder if you did any pp or used any technique for achieving such a scene.
Corners at the bottom are quite dark but coming to center they become more blue. Boats and little pathway leading to them look so nice in the eternity of sea and sky.
TFS, have a nice weekend...

Oh Don, what do we have here? A painting on a photography website?:)
I would really hang it on a wall,in my house,it is that much I like it...
No need to justify why,I guess:)
Thank you,
Nelu

Hi Don. Very beautifully composed shot. The light is just perfect and I love the feeling of early morning stillness except for the wind in the flags. Chris

don: what a classic composition - the color is mesmerizing. I would be interested in your PP techniques here. Super stuff - best, c

Hi, Don,
A perfectly composed shot with delightful light and elegant presentation.
Are they coming back or sailing off?
It looks like a painting, which I like, and it's very poetic:)

Valerka:)

For me, this is somewhere between a painting you may see at a B&B off the Maine coast, and an actual photograph. It has an ethereal feel. Beautiful dark tones.
cheers,
CT
