[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was drawn by the massive rock formations that hug the waters near Nubble Light House in southern Maine. Looking away from the lighthouse, I thought this view deserves some merit too. I was also inspired by the legend that a shipwreck in 1842 of The Isidore nearby, still reappears as a ghost ship with a phantom crew.

Hello Kathy! Now I can start with my old story again that I once drove along the coast of Maine in thick fog and that I saw nothing but the front of my car and this only half way through ;))))))))))) Actually it is history but I still have a huge smile when I think of it. I really like your idea of leading our eyes over the stone with some sea and sky but that the main concentration stays on the rocks. Your frame is very good and I like the pale approach, it gives the whole scene a modern look. Very good, I like it a lot. Barbara.

PS. I mean hello, two points for this shot, it is too good to leave it that way!

Hi Kathy,
Lovely coastal secne with fine depth and lovely contrasting colors.
The silver blue sea blends perfectly with the rugged rocks that are seen in rich light.
