Hello Tom,

I love the composition with the wall of the graveyard and the distant tree line splitting the shot into thirds!
The detail and the aspect are lovely. The blues and greens work well together to give a calm and tranquil atmosphere.

I think I would have lifted the camera just a little to avoid the edge of the tarmac. It looks even better without that.

Tom,
Your composition is great showing the graveyard on one side with the lake and homes on the the other. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. I think I would have cropped out the edge of the parking lot to clean up the foreground of the shot.

An interesting POV with the strong diagonal line of the retaining wall. The large tombstone is well placed in the scene. It does look like a peaceful spot.

I also agree with you, this is a beautiful place for the final rest. Maybe, these people deserved to have received this.. a picture with a lot of symbolism, because we can make countless readings about it. The colors and contrasts are well handled. Tom,
it isn't just the perfect place for these fishermen to rest, but also for the family members to visit the dead have the sea right there as a reminder to the place where there loved one worked most of his life - to the sea.

Tom, at first I was put off by the fg but then in thinking about it I realize that this is how it really looks and therefore is how it should be shown. Lovely sentiment and you are of course right. Color is good and the angle is nice because it shows the slope to the inlet but it looks like you really pushed the sharpening on this one, maybe it is just the amount of minute detail, I don't know. Overall a great capture as always.

Hi Tom, A complete contrast to my cemetery, This has nice natural colours, water, green grass & trees, it certainly looks like a good resting place but one that I would not be looking forward to be in. Just a thought I wonder whether you would have been better served by cropping the bottom a little? just a thought.
