WOW, Tom,
that light is nearly unmistakable. Clear, clean colors, perfect contrast, crisp detail and the reflections are just fabulous! I have to say, though, something about it reminds me of a Stephen King novel..... "Misery", maybe. Beautiful shot!! Thanks and take good care,

hello Tom,
"Clamshell Alley" sound like something from a cartoon, and the neat houses in this lovely village add to the feeling of permanent sunny Sunday afternoon :) I like how you have used the reflection to double the effect of the toy-like house, and the corner of the bridge works well to give depth to the scene. very well seen and presented.

Excellent composition using the reflection to add nice depth to the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The blue sky forms nice contrast to the bright houses. I like the inclusion of the foot bridge in the foreground.

You saw those houses perfectly in two colors. Reflections of three white houses are dazzling my eyes. Great view from foot bridge and sky is wonderful as usual. Congratulations.

Hello Tom,

What lovely composition with the small triangular piece of land in the corner and the street running all the way around the periphery drawing the whole together.

Lovely sharp and crisp images with very artie reflections in the blue water. Who wouldn't want to live in that house by the water!!!

THhat's a particular and typical place. I like the contrast between the red houses on the right and the white houses. I like the house in the middle with its long red chimney and its several windows. The reflection gives a new dimension to the picture. Well done and thanks for sharing.

No Photoshop filter can render such artistic reflected patterns!
And the little house located directly on shore takes most of the credit!
A nice tribute to architects of the era and to the photographer used to capture the genuineness of northern New-York State!
