helo tom,

i see, you're going easier on post-production nowadays. it works well indeed. i feel you could have gone even less on this fine shot (i feel, you were trying to get details out of the forest. for a shot like this (against the sun) - no need for details there. pitch-black silhouettes would do very well). love the scene, the colors and the serene mood. looks like a very fine place to go boating.

Tom, this is really a fine one. Everything about it is good, the reflection, the color and the sharpness but what I find most interesting or refreshing is that you waited until the sun was hidden behind the cloud and didn't burn a hole in the frame, that and the fg bushes. Fine capture and the note makes it a nice presentation.

very nice the gold reflections on the surface of the basin.The clearness on the surface and especially the area of the sun is recorded better than the sky.Superb warm colors and lights.The silhouettes of the trees add an attractive strike in the photo.Informative your note too.

I like a lot how you have composed the photo with the dark silhouettes of the trees and grass framing the gorgeous sky. fantastic colour, looks like liquid amber of honey, I've always liked these golden tones in nature photography. fine work, my compliments.

Superb warm colors of sun to brighten up the sky and water to give such a good reflection. The golden sun is partially hidden in clouds but still full of energy radiation. Very calm still water to show a smooth plane. I like this post.

Hello Tom,

I love to read your notes and think the names of some of the places are so descriptive. Who wouldn't call a mountain steep! It's great!

Your photoraph is is wonderfully moody! The silhouetted vegetation encircles the mirror-like pool and reflects the warm, peachy-golden sky to great effect! The flying birds are a bonus!
