Excellent Shot. I love the rocky foreground. The bright colors of the house and grass really dress up the photo. Good P.O.V.

I glimpsed at the thumbnail and knew it was Maine. You captured the essence of it.

Michael,
What an excellent image of the lighthouse. Can’t really say why but I love lighthouse photo. This is really nice with good composition of the rock formation leading the viewers into the bay or river and then the distant lighthouse. Good DOF, great sharpness overall, especially on the foreground of the rocks. Good balanced of colors and light with right amount of saturation and contrast. I enjoyed your impressive gallery. Thanks.

Hi Mike,
I've seen many photos of this lighthouse but I must say this one has the most interesting POV from the well detailed rocks across the inlet to the lovely little house. Excellent colors with wonderful sharp details. The silver blue sky makes for a perfect backdrop to set off the details of the lighthouse.
I'm on my way tomorrow for a week on Vinalhaven Island and it is suppose to rain every day and not get above 50 degrees.
Regards, Tom

Hi Michael
I like the way you kept all the nice detail in the FG rocks and I especially like the little red hut against the greenery.
Very well done.

Michael, fine view of the light. I see you had a nice low tide when you shot this. Your colors are very good and the WB shift worked well. You pov is nice, I like the fg rocks, and I absolutely agree about leaving the poles in the frame. That the light was showing red and not just blank is also a good touch. Great capture.

Hello Michael,
Very effective composition with the two parts nicely balanced. I particularly like the textures and colours of the foreground rocks and the saturated colours around the lighthouse. Good DOF to maintain sharpness throughout the scene.

This is a perfect vantage point for this quintessential shot of the Nubble. The foreground rocks with their leading lines and the gas bubble depressions make this a winner! Excellent results and helpful notes, Mike.

Hi Michael:
This is a fabulous shot! What a fantastic wide-angle feel it has, and the sharpness is exquisite. I guess that's the joy of an L lens. I love the inclusion of all those rocks. Great job.
