This is Spring Point Ledge lighthouse in South Portland, Maine. It was built in 1897 and sits at the end of a long breakwater in the Portland Harbor.
This photo was taken with my old point and shoot camera. Demonstrating that it doesn't take an expensive camera to take a decent photo. |

Kevin, nice capture, where in relationship to Portland Head light is this one? I am ticked that I missed it. You are right about not needing a good camera (all the time) there are some folks that can see and capture well with any camera.
