Photographer’s Note

This is a Ford 1912. It was running very well and I spoke with the owners. The only thing that has been added is an electric starter.
It was fun to see them drive around with the characteristic sound of those cars.
No exception for oldies, the parking meter has to be fed.
Along Long Sands Beach, York Beach, Maine.

Hello Jacques,
This splendid 97 year old Ford stands proudly. Your photo was taken from an excellent angle. Colors and details are very nice and the setting with the sea as the background is beautiful and quite effective. Without the paved street, the picture would look like 1912, the year the car was made.

Super prise de vue Jacques

Une vraie ford bien capté avec la mer. Bientôt 100 ans pour cet auto qui encore une des plue populaire grace a ces vertus. Photo bien nostagique. J`aime bien l`ombre de la roue.
