June Means Lupines in Bloom

Gorgeous purple and pink lupines in bloom are reason enough to visit New England each June. If you need additional incentive, make plans to attend one of two Lupine Festivals in the region. The Fields of Lupine Festival in Franconia, New Hampshire, runs June 5 through 21, and Deer Isle, Maine, hosts a Lupine Festival the weekend of June 19-21. Hello Tom,
A good capture of what in England would be called a cottage garden. It is nicely composed with the house in the background and benefits from lovely vibrant colours and excellent clarity.

I like the alternating red & violet colors of the flowers. Excellent sharpness & framing. Good graphism against the lighter bg facade of the building. Tfs!

Wow!! One of the nicest pictures of lupine I've seen, and I've taken a lot myself. The detail is excellent and the contrast with the scarlet poppies is amazing!!

Sorry I'm slow, we're enmeshed in difficult decisions which leaves me little energy for anything else.

So do you think they painted the house to match the garden colour or planted the Lupines to match the colour of the house.

Lindas estas flores roxas e vermelhas metidas no meio desta vegetação verde , as cores ficaram bem vivas , gostei da casa de fundo de madeira com as linhas horizontais , parabéns !!

Great picture of these deep-blue lupins that go so well with the bright red poppies! They also seem to match the colours of the house and shutters!
Your photo is definitely an incentive to go and visit the place; it's just a little far for us!...
