Portland, Maine -- Portland's Eastern Promenade is a park that sits atop Munjoy Hill, northeast of downtown Portland. Rolling fields, public gardens, monuments, playgrounds, basketball, and tennis courts make this area a local favorite. At one end of the Eastern Promenade you can view the sunrise over Casco Bay (Casco Bay seen here), and about a mile away at the other end, you can view the sunset over Portland's Back Cove and the city itself.
