Photographer’s Note

This image was actually 4 images. I used my older digital Nikon 990 and stitched (using Photoshop)the images together to produce one image of Portland Head Lighthouse in Portland, Maine, U.S.A. There are many beautiful lighhouses in this area, they have great lobster and restaurants, fall festivals, and the fall foliage was perfect duirng this trip.

Welcome to TE, Andrea. A great start here--it's a beautifully composed photo. Sepia fits the scene well, because it's timeless; it could be done as B/W but it might be a somewhat low-contrast scene for that. Nice work in PP to give each part of the scene the right amount of contrast. I'll watch for more from you! Regards, Ken.

Very nice view, but I would surely have appreciated it in color (I am not a B & W fan). But clearly a very good stiching job.
