Port Clyde is a charming little fishing village found at lands end on the St. George Peninsula. There is an old world hotel, general store, ice cream shop and you can hop on a boat to the beautiful trip to Monhegan Island. Nearby are Marshall Point Lighthouse (featured in the movie "Forrest Gump") and the lovely Drift In Beach.

Again you capture the feel of the place. There are few folks that make me feel that I am there, you are one of them. Great to return to looking at your photos.

I missed them!

hi Tom

Interesting to see the wooden platform and houses on stilts! I guess the tide is not very high here. Nice fishing village scene and must be plenty of seafood here.

Hello Tom,
A nice capture of this pretty harbour. Good light and colours and fine point of view.

Hi Tom
très bon cliché de ce port de mer à marée basse, tout semble attendre la marée haute pour reprendre vie, bravo.

Hello Tom,

Great pov to draw us in and want to see more!
I'm already on the landing stage eagerly surveying the scene!
This looks like a very charming fishing village. It is keen to keep its working identity with all the pots and boats, but looks like the sort of place that provides interesting people willing to share their knowledge and experience!
Very interesting details and excellent colours!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Tom
Another nice shot of a New England harbour with the tise out. My only observation is that the horizon is sloping towards the left. Other than that a great shot.

Hi Tom,
Wonderful capture about this nice pier. Splendid colors and contrasts. The some reflections are lovely. You've captured well this nice placing. Well, sorry, I'm later with the visitation your gallery, but I'm very busy with work's tasks. Good presentation as always you did. Best regards, Consuelo

Hi Tom, the POV, the perspective makes it to look with a great depth and with the 3D effect.
Very good.

hi Tom,
the wooden pier is just in the right place to create a "launching pad" for the eye to jump into the photo. the elongated shapes of the cloud formation and the shoreline create a mood of a lazy day, something I'd very much like to have right now :) the lobster cages add a great colour touch, this is a very nice work.

with best regards,
Kristine
