New Harbor, Maine a quaint lobster fishing tourist village is a lovely narrow harbor located on Muscongus Bay just north of Pemaquid Point. This year live lobster could be purchased for 6.50 per pound.

Hello Tom -

This is very nice both in composition and execution. The low overcast has added richness to the colors and cut down the contrast. It is also a colorful image with the blue boat and the lobster pots stacked on the dock in the BG. Looking at this image I am trying to see 6 weeks into the future - October 1 this should be a killer and colorful image with the trees, water, boat, and lobster pots. Well done.

Thank you for sharing.

John

Excellent Tom, great addition to the boat theme. The detail on the pier and up the hill is very nice, and I like how you have captured this at low tide, gives a good feel as to the water movement.

Hey, Tom,
lovely composition with the small boat in front and the two larger ones at an angle. I like the misty, morning quality of this. I have seen mornings I would love to have back now like that. I wanted to see what it would look like with a different feel so I have tried a workshop. I don't know if it even looks like that did when you made the shot. Hope you don't mind.

Another beautiful picture!! I must go to Maine. You've made it look sensational! I love the green shades in this picture.

Hi Tom,
Judging from your series, you must have travelled quite a distance in kayak. Great way to explore a place and healthy excercise too. Looks like their lobster there are no cheaper than here in Kaikoura. Well seen and captured ... good image quality too. Well done! tfs
Cheers,
Renier

Tom,
Nice composition with the addition of the boats and lobster traps. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The reflection of the blue boat adds nice depth and texture to the shot.

Hi Tom
Without any boubt, a quiet cove for amateur lobstermen who rent the facilities.
Pleasing relaxing mood due to overcast.
The rowboat at foreground balances beautifully the multi-layered array of maritime gear.
Best regards.
Robert

Beautiful picture. Four Years ago I visited the Kennebunk Maine and It's as beautiful as series of pictures that you posted from the village of New Harbor. Love the colors of water, the lobster traps have an excellent sharpness and detail. The blue boat perfectly located.
Well done Tom.

On a grey Zurich night like this I could use some good old New England clam chowder ... does it also have Lobster in it ... I forgot? This soup crossed my mind when I saw your photo ... strange thought, I know, but it is also your fault writing about lobster and even adding the pound price. This is a lovely composition with the little dinghy moving on the water and the yellow-orange lobster traps standing out in the otherwise rather pale environment ... was there fog in the bay? Have a great day, it is after eight here, Barbara.

Hi Tom,
What a beautiful photo of the lovely lobster boat in the green setting of this idyllic cove!! The reflection is a lovely addition. Guess I should have bought my lobster in Maine before going to Nova Scotia.
