For a moment it seemed like a shot from the Ganga in India and then i doiscoivered it was a different expereicne altogether. great colours and a superb pov. I love the way you have handled this one

Hi Tom,

Nice image with the reds buoys creating an interesting contrast in this view. The soft colours of the early morning are pleasant and the peaceful atmosphere well caught. A nice place to visit I bet :-)

Tom,
This is a great view and a fine menu! At first I thought this was an early morning shot with the fog but I guess it was later in the day if you were eating lobster. Your composition is fine with the inclusion of the banister in the foreground and the fog shrouded island in the background. The boats add nice points of interest throughout the frame. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

It looks and sounds idyllic. The evening sun is tinting the clouds with a lovely pink which is also reflected in the water. The distant haze adds to the atmosphere. Including part of the fence in the corner works well in the composition.

That is a fine place for dinner! Very nice shot of the marina with the small boats and in late day mood.

I can recall the eastern provinces of Canada such as Prince Edward Island where we had fun and seafood dinners. Maine reminds me of these places along the north eastern coasts of Atlantic.

Hello Tom,

The food sounds great, lobster, particularly!

I like the way the light is striking the water making ripples which are at r/angles to the horizon.
The wood anchors the shot in the f/g and the island marks marks land's end in the m/ground before the sea merges into the sky.
Lovely tonal blues throughout.
