Bass Harbor, Maine is located at the far southern tip of Mount Desert Island. It is a hard working lobster town with ferry service to Swans Island and Fremchboro. If your looking for a lobster dinner at a reasonable price this is the place to go.

Hello Tom,
A good pov looking across the harbour with these little boats dotted about. Nice muted colours in the fog and some good reflections.

Very nice blue tones and foggy atmosphere, excellent compo and framing. I like this multitude of white boats on the blue sea and the white and red buildings on the shore.

Hello Tom,

All the boats in foreground care for excellent depth and nice perspective.
Also the little bit misty in the background gives a nice atmosphere.

Hi Tom,
Now that looks like the kind of weather I had for most of my North Sea trip; however, your excellent framing makes it work really well. Was thius another kayak shot? Speaking of reasonable; in San Diego, we can buy live lobster from Maine for the same price we paid in NS. About $9/pound. Of course here we buy it from a wholesale outlet. HLJ, Pat
