Photographer’s Note
Last June I took a three day trip to see the beautiful cost of Maine. During the three days I drove along the Maine shoreline starting at Kennebunk , Bar Harbor and ended up Acadia National Park.
The only problem was that during most of the three days that I spent in Maine I saw a lot of fog early in the morning and very little sun during the day. Even though the weather wasn't that good I still saw beautiful scenery and seascapes. During the next couple days I am going to be sharing some of the pictures that I took from my trip. I hope your enjoy them.
Although there are many ways to prepare lobster, at Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, only one way will do. Boiled in fresh, clean sea water over a wood fire produces the best lobsters in the rough.
Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound is located on Route 3, Bar Harbor. It is hard to miss with the row of wood-fired cookers out front smoking away and the big sign on the roof that says, "LOBSTERS". See workshop

Nicelfy captured. Your photo has transported me to Maine, I can smell the salt air and taste the lobster.
Well Done!

hi Jorge,
you should have asked a lobster to pose for you in the foreground, it would be a cute colour accent :))
interesting photo and interesting note, I knew about the cooking method, but never saw the actual pots. I like a lot the sense of depth, and the steem adds quite a drama, certainly for lobsters :)
regards,
Kristine

Hello again Jorge
I am amazed by your superb portrait of the wood-fired cookers. I enjoy a lot food prepared in an old, traditional way, like here. The note is really informative. The composition and POV is great. Fine details, and great with the covers not covering all of the cookers. The smoke confirms that you were there when the preparing of lobster was in process, and adds an interesting element. Very well done! TFS. Have a nice weekend.
Best regards, Erling
