Very nice point of view. The reflection of the sky in the lake.

The colours are nice, but it is sad you didn't get more details en the right side because of the huge contrast.

I enjoy the fact that you got the rocks too, it really adds up to the image.

A very nice combination of blue triangles, between the lake and the sky trapped between the hills. Excellent sharpness and shade effects with the stones in the foreground.

Hi Hakan,
I knew it, it could only be a Velvia who is producing these deep blue colour toning. A very serene and peaceful image in a great looking landscape. The rocks in front make good depth with a really superb reflection on the lake. I also like the trees on the left with some good detail in them. The clouds are nice, but i am more impressed by that blue gradient in the sky...truly wonderful.

Hi Hakan,
The dark evergreens wonderfully frame the vivid blue waters of Jordon Pond as the late day sky's clouds brilliantly reflect in the placid water below. The red clad hiker on the left ads a nice bit of definition to this peaceful photo.

PS I have a photo on Trek of my kayak resting along the side of the pond. In the afternoon this end of the pond can get quite choppy as all the wind funnels down towards this end of the pond.

Merhaba Hakan,

It is a spectacular photograph in all aspect — in the colors, the gradations of blue, the sharpness, and of course the composition. Did you abandon the Sigma lens for some kind of shortcoming, or did you lose it?

This past Monday I had a visit from Metin Arik, and his daughter-in-law. Metin gave a seminar to the joint group of physics, mathematics and religion departments on "Mathematical Mosaics," the subject of his recent book. It was an excellent lecture. I had no idea in advance that it was his wife (and several of her students) who had been the victims of that horrendous airplane accident that you and I had spoken of.

I love the noise-free clarity of the deep blues. In addition to the harmonius symmetry you framed; other features that make this shot very attractive are the detail you captured in the shadowed shoreline, the FG rocks and the cloud and its reflection.

Ah, the Bubbles! The shot is great but what I find very striking and a bit exceptional is the detail of the dark left-side shoreline. Must be that Nikon FA. Something I find hard to see in digital shots.

Olá Hakan, very beautiful reflection effect. It seems like an exercise I used to do in school...Anyway it has an attractive graphism and perspective and I feel myself beeing sucked to the most distant point. I can't imagine more calm than this. Excellent foreground with the rocks.

I saw this photo a few days ago and it has grown on me quite a bit. You and I share the same cool color palette. We like the cool tones more than the warm tones. You created a beautiful abstract image which is enhanced by the high contrast. The symmetry is outstanding. A very dynamic photograph of such a peaceful scene. A very interesting paradox. Fabulous!

The reflection of the sky is a deeper blue than the sky itself. A nice shot of this calm lake on a clear day. Maybe a bit lighter version of this would be nice too.
