[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a lot like shooting on my real job as sports action photographer. Probably about 2 dozen bees were working this patch of flowers and all I needed was just one of them to "pose" in just the right spot.

Taken at a botanical garden within Acadia National Park just outside of Bar Harbor, Maine. We spent the better part of 3 days in and around Bar Harbor and Acadia and never once saw the sun so I needed to re-set my photography goals on that trip. Ended up with a lot of mood pictures. I hope this looks good when uploaded because the bee is tack sharp on the negative.

Scanned at 4000 dpi, then minor color, brightness and contrast adjustments.

Why f/2.8? Something around 8 or even 11 would have made it sharper? Was it dark and the shutter speed too fast? Well, anyways, I like it. The sharpness and detail of the bee is amazing with regard to the short moment you had to push the button! Nice one,
Andreas
