[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
People have been drawn to the rugged coast of Maine throughout history. Awed by its beauty and diversity, early 20th-century visionaries donated the land that became Acadia National Park. The park is home to many plants and animals, and the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic coast. Today visitors come to Acadia to hike granite peaks, bike historic carriage roads, or relax and enjoy the scenery.

Mike,
I like your composition and POV here. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF.

Mike,

Wonderful color .. great depth .. stunning scenery .. the contrast between the sea and stone is just breathtaking.

I went to Acadia as a child .. and have been haunted by wanting to return ever since .. thanks for hitting me with it once more.

John

A slight tilt and over saturation but otherwise a nice view of the Maine coastline with great foreground details.

Hi Mike:

I agree with Kathy on the slight tilt, but otherwise this is a beautiful shot. The saturation isn't too bad (although it would look much better if the sky were darker). Wonderful subject all around.
